Holzwickede, Germany, September 2024 – Lydia Weimer has been appointed as the new Head of Group People Sustainability at Rhenus Logistics. In this role, Weimer will focus on advancing sustainability strategies related to people management within the company.
Lydia Weimer joins Rhenus Logistics as Head of Group People Sustainability after serving as Head of HR Development, Recruiting & HR-Marketing; Head of Education at Rhenus Logistics for approximately two years. In her previous role, she was responsible for overseeing HR development, recruiting, and educational programs.
Before this position, Lydia was the Teamlead Personnel Development, Recruiting & HR-Marketing; Head of Education at Rhenus Logistics for about three years. Her responsibilities included leading personnel development and managing HR-marketing strategies.
Earlier, Lydia worked as a Consultant Personnel Development at Rhenus Logistics for around ten months. Her role involved providing consulting services focused on personnel development.
Lydia’s career also includes a position as Human Resources Manager / Change Manager at Paasch Service GmbH for about a year and a half. Prior to that, she was a Masters Degree Candidate at Plastic Omnium for six months and a Research Assistant at Hochschule Bielefeld for about a year and a half. Additionally, she gained early experience as an Intern in the Human Resources Department at Volkswagen AG and as a Student Assistant at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
