Bengaluru, India, September 2024 – Mahender Singh has been appointed as the Group Chief Operating Officer (Group COO) at SJS Enterprises Limited, where he will oversee the company’s operations across various segments, manage strategic growth, and lead efforts to enhance operational efficiencies. With a strong background in operations management, strategic leadership, and process improvement, Mahender is set to drive SJS’s goals toward becoming a global leader in the decorative aesthetics industry.
Before joining SJS Enterprises, Mahender Singh served as Country Head / General Manager – India at Fluiconnecto India Pvt Limited. In this role, he took full ownership of the country’s P&L, oversaw procurement processes, improved customer satisfaction, and drove operational budgets to achieve financial objectives. His leadership enabled smoother workflows and more cost-effective business processes, positioning the company for long-term growth.
Prior to Fluiconnecto, Mahender held the position of Vice President – Business Unit at Varroc, where he led business operations in India, Vietnam, and Europe. He was responsible for managing 11 plants, improving operational performance year-on-year, and driving product development excellence. Under his leadership, Varroc achieved significant improvements in capacity utilization and profitability.
Mahender’s earlier career includes extensive experience at HELLA and Continental, where he led global operations, implemented lean manufacturing techniques, and managed complex technology transfers. He has a proven track record of optimizing manufacturing performance, achieving cost savings, and developing strategic alliances with global clients.
