Bengaluru, India, August 2024 – Mphasis has announced the appointment of Aravind Viswanathan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Aravind will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategies of Mphasis, driving growth, and ensuring strong financial governance to support the company’s business objectives.
Before joining Mphasis, Aravind served as the Chief Financial Officer at Tanla Platforms Limited for over three years, where he played a key role in driving the company’s financial strategy and operations. His tenure at Tanla was marked by significant growth and operational excellence, solidifying his reputation as a strategic financial leader.
Aravind’s career spans over a decade at Wipro Limited, where he held various senior financial roles. Notably, he served as the Senior Vice President and CFO for the iDEAS Global Business Line, where he was instrumental in revenue growth, profitability, and M&A integration. He also held the position of Senior Vice President – SBU Business Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis, managing financial planning, client negotiations, and reporting for Wipro’s global operations.
Earlier in his career at Wipro, Aravind was the Corporate Treasurer & Vice President – Investor Relations, where he managed cash, insurance, and forex risk, while also handling the investor and analyst interface. His expertise in treasury management earned him recognition with several awards, including the CFO India Treasury20 awards in 2016 and 2017.
Aravind’s extensive experience in finance, coupled with his leadership in strategic business finance, makes him a valuable addition to the Mphasis executive team.
