Malay Joshi Named CEO of Wipro Americas 1 Strategic Market Unit

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. | BENGALURU, India – Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO), a global leader in technology services and consulting, today announced the appointment of Malay Joshi as Chief Executive Officer of its Americas 1 Strategic Market Unit, effective immediately. This strategic promotion follows the recent appointment of Srini Pallia as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro Limited.

Malay, who brings over 28 years of comprehensive experience within Wipro, steps into this role to accelerate growth and strengthen client relationships across the Americas. His previous position as Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head involved leading the Communications, Media, Tech, Retail, Travel, Hospitality, and Public Sector industries—key areas that contribute significantly to Wipro’s global operations.

Educated in Information Technology Engineering with advanced leadership training from Harvard Business School and Stanford University, Malay is well-equipped to drive significant transformations within Wipro’s strategic market in the Americas. He will also join the Wipro Executive Board and contribute to the company’s broader strategic decisions.

Based out of Wipro’s New York City office, Malay is also a key member of Wipro’s Culture Council, underscoring his role in shaping the company’s internal and external strategies.
