Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2026 – ITC Infotech has announced the appointment of Manas Chakraborty as its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), marking a significant leadership milestone as the company accelerates its pivot toward AI, data, cloud, and engineering platforms-led growth.
A proven transformational leader with over three decades of global experience, Manas has built a reputation for scaling businesses profitably at speed while delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation. Known for turning strategy into action, he has consistently driven nonlinear growth through large strategic deals, differentiated integrated offerings, and new-age IT delivery platforms. His ability to build high-performance teams and develop strong advisor and startup ecosystems positions him well to lead ITC Infotech into its next phase of innovation-led expansion.
Prior to this appointment, Manas served as President and Chief Operating Officer at ITC Infotech and was a Member of the Executive Management Council. As COO, he was responsible for conceptualizing and implementing business strategies aligned to both short- and long-term objectives, driving content-led sales, differentiated solutions, seamless delivery, and operational excellence while meeting revenue and profitability targets.
Earlier, as Global Head – Large Deals Business & Day ZERO Delivery at Tech Mahindra, he delivered 3x year-on-year growth in large deal total contract value (TCV), reaching multi-billion-dollar milestones, and significantly improved win rates. At Mindtree, where he held multiple senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President & Global Head – Cloud & Enterprise IT Services and Head of BFSI, he led major business turnarounds, created the Cloud First service line, conceptualized the patented CAPE platform, and drove strong revenue and profitability growth across service lines. His earlier leadership journey includes impactful roles at Birlasoft, HCL Technologies, Infosys, Mphasis, Satyam Computers, STRABUS, and Raymond Limited, spanning consulting, enterprise transformation, and platform-driven innovation.
