Hyderabad, Telangana, India, August 2024 – Mani Bhatnagar has been appointed as the new Director HR at Capgemini. In this role, Mani will be responsible for leading human resources strategies, fostering talent development, and driving HR initiatives to support Capgemini’s digital and sustainable transformation goals across its operations.
Mani Bhatnagar brings extensive experience in human resources management to Capgemini. Before joining Capgemini, Mani served as the Head of HR for Roofing, Building Solutions, and Construction Chemicals Businesses at HIL Limited for over two and a half years. In this role, he was instrumental in managing HR strategies, streamlining operations, and enhancing employee engagement across multiple business verticals.
Prior to his role at HIL Limited, Mani had a notable 15-year tenure at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), where he held several key HR positions. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager & Lead – HR (IS Functional), overseeing HR functions and driving key initiatives to support the organization’s strategic goals. His earlier roles at HPCL included Manager-HR (IS Functional) and Head of Human Resources, SCZ, where he led HR operations in the Southern Central Zone, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Mani’s early career at HPCL saw him rise through various HR roles, including Deputy Manager – HR (IS Functional), Senior Human Resources Officer – CM & HR Strategy, and HR Officer – Competency Mapping & HR Initiatives. In these roles, he contributed significantly to HR competency mapping, corporate recruitment, and HR strategy formulation, laying a strong foundation for his career in human resources.
