Gurugram, India, August 2024 – Apurv Amanesh has been named the Director – Business Development – APAC & Head of J1 Visa, PMQ & Academic Alliances Portfolios at SHRM. In his new role, Apurv will lead business development efforts across the APAC region and manage key portfolios, including the J1 Visa, PMQ, and Academic Alliances, driving growth and strategic partnerships for SHRM.
Apurv Amanesh has been with SHRM for over six years, holding various leadership roles. Before his current position, he served as the Director – North, East & Neighbouring Countries | Head Academic Alliances, where he was responsible for expanding SHRM’s footprint in these regions and managing academic partnerships.
Prior to this, Apurv was the General Manager – North, East & Neighbouring Countries | Product Lead – SHRM APAC, where he focused on product leadership and business growth across multiple regions. His strategic thinking and leadership skills were key to the successful execution of SHRM’s initiatives.
Earlier, Apurv held the role of Regional Manager | North & East India at SHRM, where he managed client relationships and business development, significantly contributing to SHRM’s presence in the region.
Before joining SHRM, Apurv worked at CEB, now Gartner, as a Senior Manager | Business Development. In this role, he managed strategic accounts and worked closely with CHROs and their teams to deliver best-in-class research and insights.
Apurv’s earlier experience includes roles at Dun & Bradstreet and Sodexo, where he gained extensive experience in business development and strategic account management.
