Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2024 – Vaishali Worah has recently joined Axis Mutual Fund as the Head of Learning, Talent, and Organizational Development (OD). In this role, Vaishali will oversee the strategic development of learning and talent management programs while driving organizational effectiveness initiatives to support the company’s growth and development goals.
Vaishali Worah brings extensive experience in human resources, particularly in the areas of learning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining Axis Mutual Fund, Vaishali served as the Lead of the HDFC Ergo Learning Academy (VidyaaVriksh) at HDFC ERGO General Insurance. During her seven-month tenure, she was responsible for driving the company’s learning and development initiatives, focusing on enhancing employee capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Before her role at HDFC ERGO, Vaishali was the Head of Learning & Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Talent Management at Aditya Birla Group’s Birla Paints division for over a year. In this capacity, she played a crucial role in developing capabilities, enabling the business’s strategic goals, and implementing culture-building and change management initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Vaishali served as the Head of Learning & Development, OD & TM at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited. In this role, she led the company’s talent management and organizational development efforts, ensuring that the business’s human capital strategies aligned with its growth objectives.
Vaishali’s extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at Kotak Life, where she was the Vice President & Head of Channel Leadership Development, L&OD. During her two-year tenure, she led leadership development programs and organizational development initiatives, contributing to the company’s success in building a strong leadership pipeline.
In addition to these roles, Vaishali has held senior positions at SBI Life Insurance and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, where she gained extensive experience in learning and development, sales training, and human resources management. Her early career began at The Indian Express, where she worked in space marketing.
