Istanbul, Türkiye, May 2026 – invent.ai has announced the appointment of Selin Esencan Baykal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
The appointment comes at an important phase of global expansion and organizational growth for invent.ai, as the AI-powered retail decisioning platform continues scaling its international operations and strengthening its leadership capabilities. Selin brings extensive experience in people strategy, organizational transformation, talent leadership, and scaling high-growth technology businesses across international markets.
The company noted that her leadership will play a key role in strengthening invent.ai’s people agenda, culture, leadership capability, and organizational growth journey.
Before joining invent.ai as Chief Human Resources Officer, Selin Esencan Baykal served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bilyoner, where she led enterprise-wide HR strategy aligned with organizational growth and cultural transformation initiatives. In this role, she oversaw talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, rewards strategy, workforce planning, and organizational design while partnering closely with executive leadership and the board on strategic human capital priorities.
Prior to Bilyoner, Selin worked with n11.com as Head of People, where she was part of the executive leadership team and led people transformation initiatives focused on organizational efficiency, talent strategy, restructuring, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement during a significant growth and transformation phase.
She also held multiple leadership roles at Getir, including People Director – International Expansion and Director of Expansion, where she played a key role in supporting the company’s international growth across European markets and leading HR and organizational setup activities for new country launches and integrations. Her work included establishing people processes, organizational design frameworks, and workforce strategies to support rapid international scaling.
Earlier in her career, Selin spent over two years with The Coca-Cola Company as a Regional HR Strategic Business Partner, supporting leadership teams across Central Asia and the Caucasus region. She led organizational design, leadership capability development, agile transformation, and culture initiatives across finance, strategy, legal, and franchise functions.
She also held HR leadership roles with Roche and The Estée Lauder Companies, where she gained extensive experience across employer branding, talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR analytics, learning and development, and strategic people programs.
