New York City Metropolitan Area, New York, United States — June 2026 — BD has elevated Manish Sinha to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer, entrusting him with responsibility for the company’s global people strategy as it continues its transformation as one of the world’s leading pure-play medical technology organizations.
The appointment represents a significant milestone in Manish’s distinguished career and comes at a pivotal moment for BD as the company sharpens its focus on innovation, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and business transformation across its global operations.
As Chief People Officer, Manish will lead the company’s worldwide human resources strategy, talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, culture transformation, and people initiatives supporting more than 60,000 associates globally. He will play a critical role in ensuring that BD continues to attract, develop, and retain world-class talent while strengthening organizational capability to support future growth.
Manish has been associated with BD for nearly 16 years and has held a series of increasingly significant leadership positions across global businesses, regions, and functions. Prior to his elevation, he served as Senior Vice President, HR and Organisational Effectiveness, where he led people and talent strategy across BD’s global businesses and major markets, including the United States, Canada, and Latin America. His responsibilities also expanded to include global functions, commercial talent strategy, and enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Earlier, he held leadership roles including Senior Vice President, HR (All Business Units & Latin America) and Organisational Effectiveness, Senior Vice President, HR – Global Business Segments & Innovation Functions, Senior Vice President, HR – Medical and Interventional Segments, Senior Vice President, HR – US Region, HR Operations and Technology, and Vice President HR for the Americas and US Region.
Throughout his tenure at BD, Manish has played an instrumental role in supporting major mergers, acquisitions, business integrations, organizational transformations, leadership capability development, talent management initiatives, and enterprise simplification efforts. His experience spans multiple geographies including North America, Asia-Pacific, and emerging markets.
Before joining BD, Manish served as Vice President – Human Resources Europe at Genpact, where he led HR strategy across multiple European countries during a period of rapid expansion and business growth. Earlier in his career, he held HR leadership positions with GE, worked as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and began his professional journey with BILT.
With nearly three decades of experience across healthcare technology, business services, consulting, manufacturing, and multinational corporations, Manish brings deep expertise in organizational transformation, leadership development, talent strategy, workforce planning, change management, HR technology, and business partnering.
His elevation reflects BD’s continued commitment to strengthening leadership capability and building a future-ready workforce as the company advances innovation, accelerates growth, and expands its impact across global healthcare.
