Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2025 – Gokaldas Exports Limited has announced the appointment of Manjunatha M G as Cluster Head – Human Resources, marking a significant addition to its leadership team as the company continues to drive growth and transformation in the global apparel sector. In his new role, Manjunatha will be responsible for steering people strategies across clusters, strengthening organizational capabilities, and fostering a culture of excellence and sustainability within the company’s expansive operations.
With over two decades of experience, Manjunatha brings a proven track record in leading human resources functions across prominent organizations in the apparel and textile industry. Most recently, he served as Group Head – Human Resources at Eastman Exports Global Clothing Pvt Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in shaping talent strategy, driving employee engagement, and supporting business transformation initiatives for over a year. His tenure at Eastman Exports saw him overseeing HR operations for a diverse workforce and contributing to the company’s growth trajectory.
Prior to this, Manjunatha held the position of Head – Human Resources (Group) at Group Meeran, where he was responsible for aligning HR practices with the group’s business objectives, implementing change management programs, and nurturing a high-performance culture. His two-year tenure at Group Meeran was marked by effective leadership in people management and organizational development.
Earlier in his career, Manjunatha served as General Manager Human Resources at both Himatsingka Group and Epic Group, with a particular focus on large-scale HR operations in India and Bangladesh. In these roles, he was instrumental in workforce planning, leadership development, and operational excellence, which supported the organizations’ international expansion and operational agility.
Before rising into senior leadership, Manjunatha gained invaluable experience as General Manager Corporate Human Resources at Himatsingka Seide Limited, Team Leader at ZingHR, and Sr. Executive at Hewitt Associates (now Aon). His early career also included impactful roles at City Municipal Council and Public Affairs Centre in Bengaluru, where he honed his skills in HR operations, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Across these varied assignments, he consistently demonstrated a commitment to people-centric leadership and continuous improvement.
