Mariia Lavrentieva Appointed as Head of Learning and Development for the Americas Region at GlobalLogic

San Jose, California, United States, June 2024 – Mariia Lavrentieva has been appointed as the new Head of Learning and Development for the Americas region at GlobalLogic. With an impressive career spanning over 14 years, Mariia brings extensive experience in talent acquisition, mobility, and resourcing to her new role.

GlobalLogic has been a significant part of Mariia Lavrentieva’s professional journey. Before taking on her new role, Mariia served as the Director of Mobility and Resourcing for the Americas from January 2021 to June 2024. In this capacity, she led mobility and resourcing initiatives, program-managed talent acquisition projects with a focus on automation and scalability, and collaborated with HR, delivery, and sales teams to manage attrition and optimize resource allocation.

From October 2017 to January 2021, Mariia was the Senior Manager of Resourcing and Mobility at GlobalLogic in San Jose, CA. She managed relocation programs and pool redeployment for the USA and Canada, working closely with various teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and attrition management.

Prior to her roles in the Americas, Mariia worked at GlobalLogic Ukraine in Kyiv, Ukraine. She served as the Manager of People Development from September 2014 to September 2017, managing a team of 10 recruiters and overseeing the Mobility program for internal talent relocation to the USA. From February 2011 to August 2014, she was a Senior Recruitment Specialist, conducting full-cycle recruiting for various tech roles.

Before joining GlobalLogic, Mariia was a Technical Recruiter at Trustename.com from April 2010 to December 2010, where she conducted end-to-end recruitment processes for engineering hires.
