Dallas, Texas, United States, March 2026 — Marla Storm has joined the leadership team at Verily as Chief Human Resources Officer. Based in Dallas, Texas, she steps into the role with extensive experience leading global people strategies across large-scale, complex organizations, with a focus on HR transformation, talent strategy alignment, and operating model effectiveness.
Prior to joining Verily, Marla Storm served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Wood. Reporting to the CEO, she led human resources for the FTSE 250 Wood Group with 35,000 employees across more than 60 countries, focused on growth in global energy and materials markets. Her work included transforming the HR operating model, improving service delivery through process improvements and AI-enabled service delivery, and partnering with the board and compensation committee on executive compensation and reward strategy.
Earlier, she served as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at Balfour Beatty US, leading HR strategy and practice across the company’s US operations and partnering with senior leadership on succession planning, executive compensation, and talent strategy.
Before that, Marla Storm held senior HR leadership roles at Boeing as Senior Director, Human Resources – Parts & Distribution Services and Supply Chain, serving as an HR executive leader for a large global services supply chain organization with operations across multiple countries. She also spent nine years at McKesson in HR leadership roles, including as Senior Director, Human Resources – McKesson Pharmaceutical & Corporate Functions, and earlier led global HR support for McKesson Technology Solutions.
Earlier in her career, she served as Human Resources Director at GlobalTec and as Human Resources Manager at PDI Technologies, building a strong foundation across HR leadership and business partnership.
