Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2026 — Marsh has appointed Ravi Abusaria as Chief Operating Officer for India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA). In this role, Ravi will lead regional operations, operational excellence, and transformation initiatives across one of Marsh’s most strategically important growth markets.
Based in Dubai, Ravi will be responsible for strengthening operational performance, enhancing client experience, and supporting business scalability across the IMEA region, as Marsh continues to deepen its advisory capabilities across risk, strategy, and people solutions.
Ravi brings more than two decades of global leadership experience across financial services, professional services, and large-scale operations transformation. Prior to joining Marsh, he served at Mercer, where he most recently held the role of COO AMEA and Global Head of Operational Excellence, leading complex, multi-market operating models and driving digitalisation and service delivery transformation across the region.
Before Mercer, Ravi spent nearly two decades at Standard Chartered Bank, where he held multiple senior leadership roles including Global Head of Operational Excellence, Chief Operating Officer – Private Bank, ASEAN, and Head of Banking Operations, Singapore. Across these roles, he led large transformation programmes, service quality initiatives, and productivity-led reengineering efforts across consumer and private banking businesses.
Earlier in his career, Ravi held leadership and operational roles at GE, Asian Paints, and Mahindra & Mahindra, building a strong foundation in operations management, business planning, and execution excellence. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he also serves as an Advisory Board Member at Pearl Academy, contributing to strategic guidance for the institution’s School of Business.
With his deep expertise in operational excellence, business transformation, and client-centric delivery, Ravi is well positioned to support Marsh’s continued growth and operational maturity across the IMEA region.
