Tampa, Florida, United States, March 2025 – Mary Kang has been named the Chief People Officer at OnMed, where she will oversee HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development as the company continues to revolutionize healthcare access through its CareStation technology.
Mary Kang joined OnMed earlier this year as Head of People Operations, leading key initiatives in workforce engagement, performance management, and HR strategy. Her promotion to Chief People Officer reflects her impactful leadership in optimizing HR processes, strengthening employee culture, and implementing data-driven people strategies.
Before joining OnMed, she served as VP of Organizational Development & HR at Gadge USA, where she led talent acquisition, leadership development, and cultural transformation initiatives. She also played a key role as VP of People Strategy at Ellevation Education, overseeing people and culture initiatives for 200+ employees and building a data-led HR function.
Earlier in her career, Mary held senior HR leadership roles at BEGiN, KIND, and Nasdaq, where she specialized in HR operations, M&A integrations, total rewards, and global workforce strategy. She was instrumental in scaling high-growth teams, executing complex organizational changes, and enhancing employee experience across multiple geographies.
Mary holds a Master of Human Resources and Industrial Relations (MHRIR) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, School of Labor and Employment Relations, along with a Strategic Human Resources Leadership Certificate from Cornell University ILR School.
