Matt Hanrahan has been with SICK Sensor Intelligence for nearly 6 years. Prior to his current role, he served as the Head of Global Talent Management for approximately 9 months. In this role, Matt was responsible for overseeing and implementing global talent management strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and culture.

Before becoming Head of Global Talent Management, Matt was the Director of Organization and People Development Americas for nearly 2 years. During this tenure, he focused on driving organizational development initiatives and enhancing people development programs across the Americas.

Matt also held the position of Senior Manager, Learning & Development at SICK Sensor Intelligence for about 3 years. In this role, he led various learning and development initiatives aimed at building a skilled and competent workforce.

Before joining SICK Sensor Intelligence, Matt spent nearly 7 years at Luther Automotive Group as the Director of Training & Organization Development. He was instrumental in shaping the training and organizational development framework of the company, contributing to significant improvements in employee performance and engagement.

Earlier in his career, Matt was the Principal at Leadership III for over 9 years, providing leadership development, organization development, and culture change services to various organizations. He also served as a Senior Consultant at The Wilson Collaborative for 10 years and at inSource, LLC for about 3 years, assisting organizations in creating ideal cultures for business growth.

His professional journey began as a Systems Operator at the Chicago Tribune for approximately 3 years, followed by his role as the Director of Training and Service at Purup Prepress for over 7 years, where he managed training and service operations.
