Dallas, Texas, United States, September 2025 — Mavis Stewart, PHR has stepped into the role of Vice President, Talent Management at Shake Shack, bringing with her over two decades of progressive leadership experience in talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement within the restaurant and healthcare industries.
Prior to her current role, Mavis served as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition & Employment Branding at Shake Shack for over three years, where she led efforts to build a robust talent pipeline, amplify the employer brand, and refine recruitment strategies to support rapid business growth.
Before joining Shake Shack, she was the Divisional Leader of Recruiting at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, where she played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s talent reach across key U.S. regions.
Earlier, Mavis spent over four years at Chili’s Grill & Bar, where she held roles including Director, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness and Director of Talent, contributing significantly to workforce development, performance management systems, and cultural transformation initiatives.
Her previous experience includes leadership roles at Logic Healthcare, The Pillar Group, and KPMG, where she led recruiting functions with a focus on healthcare staffing, professional services, and high-growth environments. Her early career includes a successful stint as Director of Recruiting at Merritt Hawkins, where she specialized in healthcare provider placement.
