San Francisco, California, August 2024 – Thunder is pleased to announce the promotion of Eryn McHugh to Chief People Officer. In her new role, Eryn will lead the company’s global people strategy, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement as the company continues to grow and innovate.
Prior to her promotion, Eryn served as VP, Talent + People Ops at Thunder, where she played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s talent operations. She led a global team responsible for managing over 90 U.S.-based employees and 100+ offshore resources. Her leadership was instrumental in optimizing the HR tech stack, enhancing performance management systems, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Before joining Thunder, Eryn was the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition at Kobie Marketing, where she led strategic talent acquisition efforts for a company recognized as a leader in loyalty provider services. She successfully managed senior-level executive searches, diversity initiatives, and employer branding strategies, contributing to the company’s growth and reputation in the industry.
Earlier in her career, Eryn held the role of Manager, Talent Acquisition + Employer Branding at MAPCO Express, where she oversaw talent acquisition operations, developed employment branding strategies, and led a team responsible for recruiting top talent across the organization.
