Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – Meenal Gauri has been appointed as General Manager India & Head of Human Pharma at Boehringer Ingelheim, where she will lead the organization’s prescription medicines business in India, driving market growth, commercial strategy, and future-ready healthcare transformation initiatives.
Meenal Gauri has been associated with Boehringer Ingelheim for over four years and most recently served as Interim General Manager & Head of Human Pharma – India, where she led the India operations through a critical transition phase, strengthening commercial performance and organizational readiness.
Earlier, she served as Head of Marketing – Gulf, Iran and Pakistan, based in Dubai, where she led the prescription medicines business, driving market share growth, marketing capability building, and strategic organizational development.
Prior to that, she worked as Regional Marketing Lead – Respiratory & Rare Diseases, based in Singapore, spearheading launches across Southeast Asia and South Korea while strengthening specialty care portfolios.
She began her career with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as a Management Trainee, supporting global product portfolio management for US and EU markets.
Meenal has completed a PGDM in Marketing from T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, and has undertaken Leadership Development at IESE Business School. She is also a Certified Executive Coach from the Co-Active Training Institute.
