Omaha, Nebraska, United States, May 2025 – Megan Thom has joined JEO Consulting Group, Inc. as the new Chief Human Resources Officer, where she will be responsible for leading the firm’s people strategy, employee experience, and organizational development efforts. Megan brings a rich blend of HR leadership, talent development, and culture-building expertise to her new role as JEO continues its mission of helping communities thrive through engineering, planning, and environmental services.
Megan most recently served at Pathward, where she held multiple roles over three years, including Vice President, People and Culture and Business Talent Coach. In these roles, she played a key part in building a performance-driven culture, strengthening leadership capabilities, and aligning talent priorities with the organization’s business goals.
Prior to Pathward, Megan was Vice President of Human Resources at FNIC Trusted Insurance Advisors, where she led people strategy across the organization, emphasizing workforce engagement, retention, and HR process modernization. Her work at FNIC contributed to improving employer branding and positioning the company as a great place to work.
Her earlier career includes nearly nine years at First National Bank of Omaha, where she advanced through diverse leadership roles including Senior Group Operations Manager, Senior Analyst – Total Rewards, and Senior HR Advisor. At FNBO, she helped shape total rewards programs, employee experience strategies, and HR operations to support growth and organizational change.
Megan began her career in learning and development, including serving as Training Coordinator at the Nebraska Humane Society, where she developed and delivered training programs to improve operational efficiency and employee onboarding.
