Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 — Megha Lal has been elevated to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Emversity, after playing a pivotal role in expanding the company’s workforce to over 700 employees across 22 states. Her new mandate focuses on deepening Emversity’s trainer ecosystem and creating a scalable people engine that supports the company’s rapid national expansion and consistent learning outcomes.

Her elevation reflects Emversity’s continued commitment to building a robust people-first culture that fuels its mission to make India’s youth employable in emerging industries.
Speaking on her elevation, Vivek Sinha, Founder & CEO of Emversity, said: “She represents the spirit of Emversity — building with purpose, pace, and precision. Together, they bring the expertise needed to scale our impact nationwide, from fostering stronger university collaborations to empowering thousands of learners through technology-led skill development. In less than two years, Emversity has emerged as the clear category leader in the skill-development space, and this leadership elevation marks more than a milestone; it’s a statement of intent to grow responsibly, lead with conviction, and continue shaping India’s employability landscape.”
Megha has been with Emversity for over a year, initially joining as Vice President – Human Resources, where she designed the foundational people architecture supporting Emversity’s rapid multi-state growth. She led HR strategies focused on trainer capability enhancement, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement, helping establish Emversity’s strong employer brand in India’s fast-growing skilling sector.
Prior to joining Emversity, Megha was Director – HR at Unacademy, where she led people practices for new business ventures such as Graphy (SaaS platform), PrepLadder (online test prep), NextLevel (AI hiring platform), and Offline UPSC Centres. Earlier, she served as Assistant Vice President – HR at IndusInd Bank, where she specialized in corporate hiring, HR analytics, and performance management. Before that, Megha spent over three years with ACC Limited, managing corporate talent acquisition, leadership programs, and performance management systems while spearheading post-merger HR integration initiatives between ACC and Ambuja Cements.
