Mesa, Arizona, United States, October 2025 — AcquirED, a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering school administrators with leadership development and innovation tools, has announced the appointment of Shaka Franklin as its new Chief Learning & Creative Officer. His role also includes guiding the creative direction of AcquirED’s products, ensuring that every offering reflects the organization’s ethos of transformation, cultural intelligence, and measurable impact.

Before joining AcquirED, Shaka served as Instructional Designer at the Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS), where he developed large-scale learning programs for the California Department of Health Care Services, designing accessible, evidence-based e-learning content aligned with regulatory and behavioral standards.

Previously, at the Chandler Unified School District, he played a transformative role as Instructional System Designer, creating leadership development programs for over 5,000 staff members and advancing e-learning systems that doubled online participation in professional development initiatives.

Shaka also brings entrepreneurial expertise as Investor and Owner of PivitolAve, LLC, and Co-owner and Lead Designer at frank¹™ / EIGHTYIV Design, where he combined creativity and pedagogy to deliver cutting-edge design and training solutions. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at the Arizona Department of Child Safety, designing instructional systems, managing large-scale training initiatives, and leading adult learning programs grounded in real-world impact.
