Bentonville, Arkansas, United States, March 2026 – Walmart has elevated Meghan Milks Nicholas to the role of Senior Vice President, Food Sourcing, marking a significant leadership move within its global operations.
In her new role, Nicholas will lead global food sourcing strategy, playing a critical role in strengthening Walmart’s supply chain capabilities and ensuring efficiency, scale, and resilience across its food business. Her appointment reflects Walmart’s continued focus on operational excellence and customer-centric growth.
In her current role at Walmart, Meghan Milks Nicholas steps into this expanded leadership position after serving as Vice President, Customer Experience & Operations, where she led Walmart’s global contact center network. She oversaw hundreds of millions of customer interactions and managed a workforce of over 20,000 agents, driving transformation through technology and enhancing service delivery at scale.
Prior to this, she served as Vice President, Operations Transformation & Innovation at Walmart, leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across 4,600 stores and 1.4 million associates. Her work focused on aligning operations with long-term strategic goals, leveraging digital and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and service quality.
Before Walmart, Nicholas held leadership roles at Peloton Interactive, where she served as Vice President, Global Supply Chain Operations and Vice President, Supply Chain Development. She led end-to-end supply chain operations, including logistics, demand planning, and network optimization, driving resilience and scalability in a high-growth environment.
Earlier in her career, she spent several years at The Home Depot, progressing through multiple roles in supply chain analytics and logistics strategy, contributing to major supply chain transformation initiatives and network optimization programs.
She also held roles at Dollar General and Unisource Worldwide, Inc., building strong expertise in supply chain strategy, analytics, and operational execution across large-scale retail environments.
