California, United States, June 2024 – Esmeralda Peña has joined Tesco Controls as the new Vice President People Operations and Human Resources. Bringing extensive experience in human resources leadership, Esmeralda is set to drive HR strategy and operations, fostering a strong organizational culture and enhancing employee engagement.
Esmeralda Peña joins Tesco Controls after a successful tenure at Vanir, where she served as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources from April 2022 to June 2024. During her time at Vanir, she played a crucial role in developing and executing HR strategies that supported the company’s business objectives. She was instrumental in enhancing employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management processes. Prior to this role, Esmeralda was the Director of Human Resources at Vanir from February 2017 to April 2022, where she led various HR initiatives and drove organizational change.
Before her impactful work at Vanir, Esmeralda was the Director of Human Resources at Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. from January 2017 to March 2017. She also held the position of Human Resources Manager at Crestwood from May 2011 to February 2017, managing HR functions and implementing employee development programs.
Esmeralda’s HR journey began at National Stores Inc. as the Regional HR Manager from November 2009 to May 2011, followed by a role as Regional Human Resources Manager at ACE Cash Express from November 2007 to July 2009. Her early career includes valuable experience as a Recruiter/Program Coordinator at Catholic Healthcare West (now Dignity Health) from 2002 to 2007, where she honed her skills in recruitment and HR program coordination.
