Istanbul, Türkiye, December 2024 – Mehmet Abaci has joined Ergün Holding as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his new role, Mehmet will drive the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with business objectives to foster innovation and operational excellence. His appointment highlights Ergün Holding’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology solutions across its diverse portfolio of financial and technological services.
Prior to this role, Mehmet served as General Manager at Koda Technology, a subsidiary of Ergün Holding, where he spearheaded transformative projects focusing on IT innovation and operational growth. He also held board member positions at Jourma GmbH and GullsEye Logistics Technologies Inc., contributing his expertise in operations management, analytics, and customer relationship management.
Before his tenure with Ergün Holding, Mehmet spent nearly two years as Technology Group President at Trakya Yatırım Holding, leading initiatives in financial consolidation and SAP S/4HANA implementations. He previously held a decade-long role at Anadolu Sigorta as CIO and Deputy CEO, where he managed IT operations, program management, and quality assurance across distributed and mainframe platforms.
Mehmet’s earlier career includes significant leadership roles at SoftTech A.Ş, Türkiye İş Bankası, and İşNet, where he contributed to IT architecture development, credit card software solutions, and enterprise-level project management. With over two decades of experience, Mehmet has consistently driven technological innovation and organizational efficiency.
