San Francisco, California, United States, April 2025 – Melissa Dawdy has been appointed as Vice President, People at Komodo Health. In her new role, Melissa will lead the company’s people strategy and talent operations during a period of continued innovation and growth. She will be responsible for aligning the organization’s HR practices with its mission of improving patient outcomes through advanced healthcare data insights.
Melissa joins Komodo Health after serving as VP, Global Human Resources at CloudBees, where she led the redesign of the HR function for a dev-ops startup with a $149M ARR. She played a pivotal role in developing transformative talent strategies and enhancing a culture of high performance.
Prior to that, she spent nearly four years at FinancialForce, initially as Senior Director, Employee Success and later as Vice President Human Resources. Her contributions helped drive organizational growth, employee engagement, and global team leadership through periods of transformation.
Melissa also held the position of Director, Human Resources Business Partner at Cloudera, where she managed HR initiatives for the company’s sales and marketing teams and supported its IPO readiness and execution. Earlier, she held key HR leadership roles at Salesforce, Responsys (acquired by Oracle), and Oracle, where she spent over 13 years guiding product development leaders and implementing global talent and change management strategies.
With a career that spans both high-growth tech startups and established global organizations, Melissa brings deep expertise in people strategy, cultural transformation, and leadership development.
