Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, November 2025 – Meredith Flynn has stepped into a new role as Senior Director, Human Resources at Sail Biomedicines, where she will support the organization’s mission of advancing programmable medicines by enabling strong people systems, leadership alignment, and a culture of innovation across its fast-growing bioplatform environment.
In her most recent role, Meredith served as Director, Human Resources at Flagship Pioneering, where she spent over a year contributing to HR leadership across the organization’s pioneering biotech ecosystem. Her work involved shaping people strategies in support of science-led ventures operating at the frontier of biotechnology.
Before joining Flagship, she built a strong and extensive foundation at Sage Therapeutics, where she progressed through multiple roles over nearly seven years—including Associate Director, People & Experience, Senior Manager, People & Experience, Manager, People & Experience Rewards, Senior People & Experience Specialist, and Total Rewards Analyst. Her experience at Sage deepened her expertise in rewards, employee experience, HR operations, and people strategy across clinical and corporate teams.
Earlier in her career, Meredith strengthened her HR operations and onboarding expertise at Philips, where she served as Senior Onboarding Specialist and Onboarding Specialist, driving process improvements, implementing Lean efficiencies, and serving as a subject matter expert on Workday and ADP. Prior roles at The TJX Companies, EF Education First, and Slice Communications further shaped her early abilities in HR coordination, data analysis, customer experience, and communication.
Alongside her professional journey, Meredith enhanced her academic foundation by earning her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College, strengthening her strategic and leadership capabilities as she built toward senior HR roles.
