Basel, Switzerland, December 2024 – Natalie Johnson has been named Head of People & Organisation at Novartis International, where she will lead the People & Organisation strategy for the International Value & Access, Customer & Market Activation, Launch Excellence & Execution, and Business Operations Teams. Natalie’s role emphasizes fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence to drive impactful business outcomes.
Natalie has been with Novartis for nearly nine years, holding a variety of roles that have prepared her for this strategic leadership position. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Transformation and Strategic Projects, where she led key initiatives to align organizational goals with business transformation strategies.

Earlier, she was a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, providing strategic HR leadership to support the development of high-performing teams. In her role as Talent, Organisational Development, and Inclusion Partner, Natalie focused on building inclusive practices and driving talent development across local market manufacturing units.
Natalie also contributed as TMOD&I Program Manager for Novartis Technical Operations, where she implemented programs to strengthen organizational capabilities. Her earlier experience includes a stint as Project Coordinator for TM&OD, where she developed foundational projects supporting Novartis’ people strategies.
Beyond Novartis, Natalie’s diverse background includes roles such as Facilitator at Soliya, Secretary to the Head of Paediatrics at the University Children’s Hospital Basel, and a part-time Translator at Angestellte Schweiz.
