Gurgaon, Haryana, India, February 2026 — Metro Brands Limited has appointed Harshavardhan Chauhaan as its Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it accelerates brand expansion and omnichannel growth across India.
In his new role, Harshavardhan will lead marketing and customer strategy across formats and channels, with a clear focus on strengthening brand equity, driving consumer-centric innovation, and delivering sustainable growth for Metro Brands’ portfolio.
Prior to joining Metro Brands Limited, Harshavardhan founded Bharat YEF – Young Entrepreneurs Fund, India’s first idea-stage, IP-first, conviction-led fund seeded with a personal commitment of $10 million. As Founding Visionary & Chief Belief Officer, he focused on venture capital strategy, startup ecosystem development, innovation management, public policy alignment, and philanthropic investment to back high-impact Indian founders.
Earlier, he served as Global Chief Marketing & Brand Officer at Trident Group India, where he spearheaded global brand vision, digital transformation, customer excellence, and go-to-market strategies across multiple international markets.
Before that, he was Chief Marketing & Omnichannel Officer at RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, leading consumer strategy and retail transformation for Spencer’s Retail, Nature’s Basket, and D2C brands. His leadership drove large-scale omnichannel growth, digital-first transformation, and retail brand reinvention across India.
Harshavardhan also held senior leadership roles at DLF Limited, ShopClues, and Godrej Industries Group, where he led digital transformation initiatives, marketplace scale-ups, category leadership, and strategic brand innovation. He began his career with roles at Accenture, ITC Limited, Hindustan Unilever Limited, and Reckitt, building a strong foundation in strategy, analytics, and brand management.
