Roberts joins MKS from Freeland Group Restaurants, where he held the position of Director of People & Culture, managing a workforce of over 2500 employees. His tenure at Freeland was marked by the introduction of cutting-edge systems for culture enhancement, leadership training, and HR practices, demonstrating his adeptness in nurturing positive work environments. This experience is particularly relevant to MKS’s commitment to creating a dynamic and inclusive company culture.
Prior to his role at Freeland Group Restaurants, Roberts spent 15 years with Fort Wayne Community Schools as a teacher, showcasing his dedication to education and community development. Beyond his professional endeavors, Roberts is actively involved in local community organizations. He serves as the Board President of Believe In A Dream, Inc., a nonprofit that offers youth opportunities in entrepreneurship, leadership, and the arts. Additionally, he is a board member of the Olin and Desta Schwab Foundation.
