Before rejoining Porsche, Michael Leiters served as Chief Executive Officer at McLaren Automotive Ltd, where he advanced the company’s hybrid technology roadmap, led the transformation of its luxury performance portfolio, and strengthened McLaren’s position in the global supercar market. His leadership was instrumental in integrating cutting-edge technology with sustainable performance strategies.
Prior to McLaren, Leiters was Chief Technology Officer at Ferrari, where he oversaw product innovation and engineering excellence across Ferrari’s high-performance lineup, playing a key role in shaping the brand’s technological evolution.
Leiters’ connection with Porsche runs deep—he previously held several key positions within Porsche AG, including Product Line Director and Project Manager for the Cayenne and Cayenne Hybrid, contributing significantly to Porsche’s success in the luxury SUV segment.
