Tampa, Florida, United States, December 2024 – Michael Noviello has joined Quest Diagnostics as the Senior Director – Human Resources Business Partner, bringing with him a wealth of experience in HR leadership and transformation. In this role, Michael will focus on aligning HR strategies with business objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and driving positive employee relations across the organization.
Michael most recently served as Sr Director – HR Business Partner at CONMED Corporation, where he oversaw HR operations across three manufacturing sites, two distribution centers, and three countries. During his tenure, he managed a team of 17 HR professionals, reduced turnover by 18%, and achieved a five-year high in engagement scores within 18 months.
Before his time at CONMED, Michael was Director, HR – Southwest Operations at Medline Industries, Inc., leading HR functions across 10 distribution centers for over 1,200 employees. He collaborated with business leaders to analyze engagement survey results, ensure compliance with compensation practices, and develop effective leadership strategies.
Earlier, Michael held the position of Director of Human Resources at thyssenkrupp Elevator, where he focused on team management and leadership development. He also spent over four years at Toys“R”Us, serving as Human Resources Manager and overseeing HR functions for a regional distribution center. His contributions included implementing a safety program that increased employee engagement and piloting a disability hiring initiative.
Michael began his HR journey as a Human Resources Representative at National Oilwell Varco, where he managed international expatriate and rotating employee populations, handled full-cycle recruiting, and developed regional employment policies. His ability to resolve global mobility challenges and drive HR innovation was evident early in his career.
