Nashville, Tennessee, United States, December 2024 – Tasha Hagberg has been appointed as the Area Director of Human Resources at Republic Services. In this pivotal role, Tasha will oversee HR operations across eight Mid-South states, focusing on talent development, culture transformation, and employee engagement. Her strategic leadership will drive organizational success and foster exceptional workplace experiences.
Tasha transitions into this new leadership role after two years as Human Resources Manager / Business Partner at Republic Services, where she supported business strategy with HR initiatives, including performance management, leadership development, and strategic partnerships.

Before joining Republic Services, Tasha served as Human Resources Manager – Business Partner at R Stresau Laboratory, Inc. in Wisconsin for nearly three years. In this role, she led comprehensive HR programs, including compensation and benefits, employee learning and development, and labor relations, in a manufacturing environment.
Her earlier career includes significant tenure at Northwest Wisconsin CEP, Inc., where she spent over six years as an HR/Business Consultant and Employer Resource Consultant. She was instrumental in workforce development, training and development programs, and the launch of initiatives like the HIRED! soft skills program for area youth.
Tasha’s career has been built on a foundation of roles in business consulting, including positions at Aspect Foundation and NorthernBridges, where she developed her expertise in employee engagement and workforce development.
