Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, December 2024 – Lama Al Obaidli has been named Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Regency Riyadh-Olaya. In her new role, Lama will oversee the hotel’s HR strategies, foster employee engagement, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with labor regulations.
Lama transitions into this leadership position after serving as Assistant Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Regency Riyadh-Olaya, where she played a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives and supporting employee development over the past year.

Prior to this, Lama was the Assistant Head of People & Culture at Habitas in Alula, where she led people-centric strategies for nine months, contributing to the unique hospitality brand’s culture-focused operations.
Lama also honed her expertise at Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences, where she held multiple HR positions, including Assistant Human Resources Manager, Assistant Manager Human Resources, and Human Resources Administration Assistant, accumulating over three years of experience in workforce planning, compliance, and employee engagement.
Her journey in the hospitality industry began at Kempinski Al Othman Hotel Al Khobar, where she worked as an HR Admin Assistant and later in Front Office Operations, gaining foundational knowledge in administration, payroll, and guest relations.
