Prior to joining Australian Motoring Services, Michael served as the Executive General Manager HR, Safety & Legal at Club Assist – Asia Pacific for over six years. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing HR and legal compliance, as well as driving safety initiatives throughout the Asia-Pacific region. His leadership helped shape the company’s people strategy and fostered a culture of safety and legal compliance across the organization.

Before his tenure at Club Assist, Michael was the Director of Workforce and Culture at the University of Melbourne, where he worked for over three years. At the university, he led initiatives that enhanced workforce development and transformed the organizational culture, ensuring alignment with the institution’s strategic goals.

Earlier in his career, Michael worked at National Australia Bank (NAB), where he held leadership roles for just over two years. He was the Lead, People & Culture for the Bank of the Future for Business Program and later served as the Head of People, where he contributed to the transformation of HR processes, supporting the bank’s mission to innovate and lead the future of banking.

Michael’s career also includes significant experience at GSK, where he worked for five years as a Senior HR Manager and Senior HR Consultant. During his time there, he provided strategic HR leadership, supporting both organizational change and people development across various business units.
