Half Moon Bay, California, United States, March 2025 – Michelle Desaulniers has been appointed as Vice President, People & Culture at ISACA. In this role, she will lead ISACA’s global human resources strategy, focusing on organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement to support the association’s mission of advancing trust in technology.
Desaulniers has been with ISACA for nearly three years, previously serving as Senior Director, Organizational Development and Engagement. In this role, she played a key role in driving culture change, enhancing employee engagement, and shaping leadership development initiatives. She also held the position of Director, Organizational Development and Engagement, where she led programs to improve workplace effectiveness and employee experience.
Before joining ISACA, she served as Vice President, People Operations at Databook, where she built the company’s HR infrastructure, scaling its workforce from 20 to 90 employees within five months. She was responsible for launching internal recruiting functions, performance management systems, and establishing HR policies for the growing SaaS startup.
Prior to Databook, she spent nearly four years at the World Economic Forum USA, where she was responsible for talent acquisition and strategic HR partnerships. She played a key role in recruiting for the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and driving HR strategies to support policy initiatives across AI, blockchain, and digital trade. Before that, she was Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at IHS Markit, overseeing recruitment operations for six global business units, managing teams across the US and UK, and leading large-scale hiring programs.
Earlier in her career, Desaulniers founded Foster Talent LLC, where she provided full-suite HR consulting services, including talent acquisition for startups like the Crypto Council for Innovation. She also held leadership roles at Maverick Search, Stax Inc., and Boston Consulting Group (BCG), contributing to strategic talent acquisition and business development initiatives.
