London, England, United Kingdom, January 2025 – Michelle Graham-Clare has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer & Corporate Vice President, International Operating Markets at McDonald’s. In this expanded leadership role, she will oversee global marketing strategies, lead innovation in food offerings, and manage international market operations to strengthen McDonald’s global brand presence.
Michelle has been with McDonald’s for approximately 10 years, holding multiple leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President for nearly three and a half years, where she led brand strategy, product innovation, and multi-channel marketing campaigns across key markets. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Marketing & Food for approximately two years, where she played a significant role in enhancing food offerings and marketing strategies to elevate customer experiences.
Before this, Michelle held several progressive roles at McDonald’s, including Marketing Director, Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, and Marketing Manager, gaining extensive expertise in brand positioning, marketing strategy, and campaign execution.
Earlier in her career, Michelle served as Head of Marketing at Harris + Hoole for approximately a year and a half, where she was instrumental in developing customer-centric campaigns and growth strategies for the coffee chain. She also worked as Head of Marketing at Select Service Partner Asia Pacific for nearly six years, focusing on strategic marketing leadership in the foodservice sector.
Her earlier roles include Marketing Manager at ColArt and Retail Marketing Manager at Grazia Magazine/Bauer Media, followed by a tenure as Category Manager at Weetabix, where she built a strong foundation in consumer marketing and category management.
