Irvine, California, United States, March 2026 – Hyundai Capital America (HCA) has announced that Misty P., Vice President of Human Resources, has been appointed to an expanded leadership role as Head of Human Resources for the Hyundai Capital Americas Region. In this additional responsibility, she will oversee strategic HR alignment across regional markets including the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Central and South America.
In her expanded role, Misty will lead the development of a unified people strategy designed to strengthen collaboration, operational excellence, and employee experience across the Americas. Her leadership will help ensure strong global alignment while enabling regional teams to maintain local expertise and responsiveness in their respective markets.
Misty currently serves as Head of Human Resources at Hyundai Capital America, where she leads the organization’s HR strategy while also overseeing Corporate Communications and Real Estate/Facilities. In this role, she partners closely with executive leadership and Hyundai Capital’s global parent organization to align workforce strategy, organizational culture, and workplace initiatives with long-term business goals.
Prior to joining Hyundai Capital America, Misty spent more than four years with JPMorganChase, where she held dual leadership roles including Head of HR – California Division for the Chase Consumer Bank, supporting approximately 9,000 employees across more than 980 locations, and National Strategic Projects Lead – Learning and Development, leading initiatives impacting nearly 45,000 employees across the Consumer Bank.
Earlier in her career, Misty held senior HR leadership roles with Prudential Financial as Head of HR – Western Territory, and with Capital Group as Senior HR Consultant and Employee Relations Lead. She also spent nearly a decade with Toyota Financial Services, where she progressed through several roles including HR Manager, HR Business Partner, and International and Regional HR, building deep expertise in financial services HR strategy and global workforce management.
She holds an MBA from Azusa Pacific University and has completed executive education in Strategic Human Resources Leadership at Cornell University.
