Hyderabad, Telangana, India, May 2026 – Amgen India has appointed Mita Ganatra as Executive Director, Finance. In her new role, she will contribute to strengthening the company’s financial leadership and strategic operations as Amgen India continues to expand its technology, innovation, and digital transformation capabilities in Hyderabad.
Prior to joining Amgen India, Mita Ganatra spent nearly 15 years with Novartis across multiple global finance and business planning leadership roles. Most recently, she served as CFO Novartis Corporate Center Hyderabad and Finance Head Infrastructure Investments, following earlier assignments as CFO of the Novartis Corporate Center Hyderabad and Head Finance for Global Business Solutions.
During her tenure at Novartis, she also led several strategic finance and business planning functions including Head BPA Excellence, Customer and Technology Solutions, Head BI CoE & Global Line Functions, Global BPA, and Group Head, Commercial Operations and Transformation Projects. Her responsibilities included leading global FP&A teams, finance transformation programs, business analytics, and operational excellence initiatives across multiple geographies including India and Dubai.
Before joining Novartis, Mita worked with Genpact, where she held leadership roles including Assistant Vice President – Operations, Senior Manager – Operations, and Black Belt – Lean Six Sigma. Her work focused on operational excellence, process transformation, and business optimization initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she was associated with GE-SBI in roles spanning risk management, sales, and management training, building strong foundations in financial operations, customer management, and business leadership.
Mita Ganatra holds a PGDBM in Marketing and Finance from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar.
