Mohamed El Kenany Appointed as Chief Procurement Officer MENAT & SSA at Kellanova

Mohamed El Kenany has been an integral part of Kellanova for over a year, bringing extensive experience and strategic insight to his new role as Chief Procurement Officer MENAT & SSA. In this position, Mohamed will oversee procurement operations across the MENAT and SSA regions, ensuring efficiency and strategic alignment.

Prior to this, Mohamed served as the Head of Procurement at Kellanova from March 2023 to June 2024. During this time, he demonstrated exceptional skills in team development, communication, leadership, and strategic procurement.

From January 2019 to April 2023, Mohamed was the Head of Procurement North Africa, Middle East & Pakistan at Mondelēz International. He led procurement strategies and operations across multiple regions, focusing on business process improvement, cost savings, and supplier management.

Mohamed also held the position of Middle East & Africa Procurement Ops Sr. Manager at Mondelēz International from October 2016 to December 2018, and EEMEA Procurement Category Lead from February 2015 to October 2016. Earlier, he served as the Senior Procurement Manager Mashreq & Algeria from May 2012 to January 2015.

His early career includes significant roles at PepsiCo, where he worked for over six years. These roles included Senior Engineering & Projects Manager, Senior Sustainability Manager, NEA Operations & Supply Chain SAP Lead, and Country Procurement Manager.

Before joining PepsiCo, Mohamed worked at General Motors as a Product Purchasing & Localization Senior Engineer from 1995 to 2000.
