Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 — Mohankrishna Yarragunta has been appointed as Director of Engineering at Visa, marking a significant leadership progression in his technology career. In his new role, Mohankrishna will lead engineering initiatives, drive platform scalability, and support Visa’s mission of delivering secure and innovative digital payment solutions globally.
Mohankrishna has been associated with Visa for over three years and was most recently serving as Senior Engineering Manager, where he played a key role in leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering critical technology programs. His elevation to Director of Engineering reflects his sustained contributions to engineering excellence, people leadership, and complex system delivery within the organization.
Prior to joining Visa, Mohankrishna spent nearly eight years with ANZ, where he progressed through roles including Senior Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Associate Vice President. During his tenure at ANZ, he worked extensively on large-scale banking platforms, mobile application development, and enterprise-grade engineering solutions, contributing to digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
Earlier in his career, Mohankrishna held engineering roles at ReachAll and Mango Technologies, where he focused on mobile application design and development across Android, iOS, and other platforms. At Mango Technologies, he was involved in the development and delivery of more than 50 mobile applications, building deep expertise in cross-platform development, API integrations, and application monetization.
With over 15 years of experience across fintech, banking, and mobile technology ecosystems, Mohankrishna brings strong technical depth and leadership capability to his expanded role at Visa.
