Dhaka, Bangladesh, February 2025 – Monoara Khatoon has been appointed as Vice President – Human Resources at Prime Bank Ltd. In her new role, she will oversee HR strategy, talent management, and workforce development, strengthening the bank’s commitment to employee engagement and organizational excellence.
Before joining Prime Bank Ltd., Monoara served as Deputy General Manager at Akash Digital TV for over a year, where she played a pivotal role in HR policy formulation, employee engagement, and workforce planning. Prior to that, she spent over six years at H&M, holding multiple leadership positions, including HR Business Partner and Compensation & Benefits Responsible, where she managed executive rewards, salary benchmarking, and strategic HR initiatives for operations across Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Monoara also brings valuable experience from The City Bank Ltd., where she served as Manager – HR Operations, overseeing payroll, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Earlier in her career, she held key HR leadership positions at Grameenphone Ltd., where she was responsible for compensation and benefits, payroll management, and total rewards strategies.
With her extensive expertise in HR policies, compensation strategy, and organizational development, Monoara’s leadership at Prime Bank Ltd. is expected to drive HR transformation and enhance employee experience across the organization.
