Muscat, Oman, March 2025 – Nabil Al Balushi has been promoted to Head of People at SalamAir, marking a significant milestone in his nearly eight-year career with the airline. In this new role, Nabil will oversee the strategic direction of the People function, driving HR policies, talent development, employee engagement, and workplace culture to support SalamAir’s continued expansion and commitment to operational excellence.
Nabil has been with SalamAir since 2017, steadily advancing through key leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Human Resources Business Manager, where he played a pivotal role in strategic workforce planning, talent management, employee retention, and leadership development. His ability to implement effective HR policies and compliance frameworks has contributed to enhancing employee experience and organizational efficiency at the airline.
Prior to this, Nabil was Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations Specialist at SalamAir, where he led recruitment strategies, employee engagement programs, and workforce planning initiatives to attract top talent in Oman’s aviation sector. His experience in employee relations, performance management, and organizational change has helped strengthen HR operations at SalamAir.
Before joining SalamAir, Nabil spent over seven years at Oman Air, where he held multiple HR roles, including Human Resources Officer, HR Administrator, and HR Coordinator. During his tenure, he was instrumental in enhancing HR systems, optimizing recruitment strategies, and leading workforce development programs for the airline’s growing operations.
Nabil holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration and Management from Muscat University, further strengthening his expertise in HR leadership, business strategy, and people management.
