Kathmandu, Bāgmatī, Nepal, March 2025 – Samir Shrestha has been appointed as Head of Human Resources – Nepal at Award Global, a leading one-stop financial services group headquartered in Australia. In this strategic leadership role, Samir will spearhead the establishment of HR operations in the Nepal market, focusing on talent acquisition, HR policy implementation, organizational culture development, and ensuring compliance with local and international HR standards.
Before joining Award Global, Samir served as Talent Acquisition Consultant at HiredOne, where he developed innovative recruitment strategies for tech professionals across Nepal and South Asia. Prior to that, he held the position of Business Head and Talent Acquisition at Suvidha Sewa Pvt. Ltd., overseeing a team of recruiters and leading the organization’s growth in delivering HR solutions to a wide client base.
Earlier, Samir contributed to the growth of Jobejee as Business Head and Talent Acquisition, where he implemented strategic hiring practices and spearheaded initiatives to improve candidate experience. He also served as Talent Management and Acquisition Manager at Chaudhary Group, where he worked on designing leadership development programs and optimizing talent pipelines for critical roles.
Samir’s earlier roles at CloudFactory, Bimal Spark House, MAW Enterprises, and Suvidha Sewa Pvt. Ltd. reflect a strong foundation in human resource management, employee engagement, and recruitment operations. He holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) and brings nearly 13 years of HR leadership experience across multiple sectors.
