Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 – Pernod Ricard India has appointed Namita Bharadwaj as Chief Human Resources Officer, marking an important leadership transition as the company continues to strengthen its people strategy and organizational capabilities in one of its key global markets.
Bharadwaj has been with Pernod Ricard India for over four years and previously served as Head – Total Rewards, Performance, Analytics & Digital Experience, where she led strategic initiatives related to compensation frameworks, performance management systems, workforce analytics, and digital HR experience. In this role, she played a significant part in shaping the organization’s rewards philosophy and people strategy to support growth and talent engagement.
Prior to joining Pernod Ricard India, Bharadwaj spent more than a decade with Mercer Human Resource Consulting, where she served as Principal. During her tenure, she led the Rewards Design practice for India, advising organizations across industries on total rewards strategies, executive compensation structures, and incentive design. She also led Mercer’s chemical industry rewards team and oversaw key product portfolios related to compensation and benefits consulting in India.
Earlier in her career, Bharadwaj held roles with Vertex Data Science as Manager – Compensation & Benefits and Performance Management, where she worked on India-specific rewards strategy and global assignments, and with People Factor and Quark, where she gained experience in learning and development, compensation, and performance management. She began her professional journey as an intern with MART, contributing to research on rural consumer behavior. Bharadwaj holds an MBA in Marketing & Human Resources from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon.
