Toronto, Ontario, Canada, August 2024 – Nancy Tavares has taken on the role of Vice President & Head of People & Culture at Paladin Security Group Ltd. Nancy brings extensive experience in HR strategy and organizational capability, which she has honed over her three-year tenure at Paladin Security.
Nancy Tavares has been a pivotal part of Paladin Security Group Ltd for the past three years. Prior to her new role, she served as Senior Director, People & Culture, where she successfully established strategic pillars of focus including Talent Acquisition, Labour Relations, Employee Engagement, HR Operations, and Talent Management. Nancy also held the position of Director, People & Culture, where she led a team of over 20 HR professionals and developed HR strategies to support over 10,000 employees across multiple regions.
Alongside her work at Paladin, Nancy has been a Continuing Education Instructor at George Brown College since 2018. In this role, she has been recognized as an exceptional instructor, noted for her passion and ability to explain concepts through practical examples.
Before joining Paladin Security, Nancy was Director of Talent & Learning at The Printing House from 2019 to 2021. She was responsible for creating and delivering innovative learning solutions and establishing the talent management lifecycle for employees. Nancy also held leadership roles at Timbercreek, where she led the Learning & Talent Development function, and at Vertica Resident Services, where she managed all training and staff development programs.
