Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2025 – Nandan P V D has been appointed as the Vice President – HR at Royal Orchid Hotels. In his new role, he will be Cluster HR Head for Telangana and AP. He will be responsible for leading people strategy, driving organizational growth, and enhancing employee experience across its expanding network of hotels in India and abroad.
Nandan most recently served as the Head of HR at International Travel House Limited, where he played a pivotal role in shaping people practices, launching the company’s first online employee satisfaction survey, rolling out Service Milestone Awards, and digitalizing recruitment and onboarding. In a short span, he developed standardized role-relevant learning experiences that significantly impacted productivity and enhanced customer experience.
Prior to that, Nandan had an illustrious 15-year career with ITC Hotels, starting as Assistant Manager, HR at Welcomhotel Chennai in 2008. He later served in leadership roles across Park Sheraton, ITC Windsor, ITC Kakatiya, and ITC Kohenur, where he was entrusted with the entire gamut of HR operations. In 2018, he was appointed Head of HR for ITC Kohenur (pre-opening) and in 2022, elevated as Cluster Head of HR for Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, where he also played a key role in the openings of Welcomhotel Guntur and ITC Narmada.
His tenure was marked by outstanding contributions including successful negotiation of long-term agreements across multiple units, advancing DEI through Project Nur which inducted LGBTQ team members into ITC Hotels, and introducing apprenticeships under the NAPS program—a pathbreaking initiative for the division. His proactive outreach and calm, composed approach made him a trusted leader who fostered harmonious work environments throughout his assignments.
Before his ITC journey, Nandan gained experience across industries including manufacturing, real estate, and hospitality, amassing over 16 years of expertise prior to joining ITC.
Nandan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HR & Finance from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, equipping him with strong academic and professional foundations in human capital management.
