Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden, September 2025 — Nanna Nelson has been appointed as Head of People North Europe, EMEA at Ericsson. In this leadership role, she will oversee HR operations across 15 countries, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, the Nordics, and the Baltics, supporting more than 11,500 employees. Her appointment underscores Ericsson’s commitment to advancing people strategies that align with its vision of driving connectivity and innovation across regions.
Nelson has been with Ericsson for more than 16 years across multiple geographies and leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Head of People CU Northern & Central Europe, where she played a critical role in shaping HR practices across diverse markets. Prior to that, she was Head of HR Scandinavia & Atlantic in the Market Area Europe & Latin America, focusing on regional HR strategy and employee engagement.
Earlier at Ericsson, she held senior roles including Head of HR Engagement Practice & CSI for Customer Units in the Nordics, Global HR Business Partner for the Development Unit Core & IMS, and Senior HR Manager in Tokyo, Japan, giving her strong international exposure. She also served as an HR Business Partner in Sweden, where she began her journey with Ericsson.
Before rejoining Ericsson in a leadership capacity, Nelson worked at H&M as Leader of Agile Change & Transformations, where she guided large-scale organizational change and transformation projects.
