Manama, Capital Governorate, Bahrain, July 2024 – Narjis Almoosawi has started a new position as Chief Executive Human Capital and Corporate Services at The Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company BSC. In her new role, Narjis will lead the human capital and corporate services functions to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.
Narjis Almoosawi has been with The Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company BSC for nearly five years. Prior to her promotion, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer, where she led human resources, compliance, and board secretarial functions. Her strategic initiatives aligned HR strategies with organizational goals, enhancing employee engagement and performance.
Before joining The Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company BSC, Narjis was the Human Resource and Admin Director at Mint Trading Partners W.L.L., where she shaped a high-performance culture, managed succession planning, and designed the organization. She also handled recruitment, employee engagement, and strategic planning.
Narjis also served as the Director of Small & Medium Enterprises at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, where she was responsible for devising and executing industrial policy mechanisms tailored to SMEs and craft industries. Her role was instrumental in fostering a favorable policy environment for the growth of SMEs.
Earlier in her career, Narjis worked as the Human Resources & Administration Manager at the Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority, where she managed all HR activities, including recruitment, compensation, career development, performance measurement, and training. She also oversaw various administration functions and led the human resources planning process.
Narjis began her career as an Account Officer at BMMI, gaining valuable experience in finance and accounting.
