Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, January 2026 — Debjani Tarafdar has started a new position as Division HR Leader at Parker Hannifin.
In her new role, Debjani Tarafdar will be responsible for driving people strategy to enable engineering and manufacturing excellence, partnering closely with business leaders to strengthen workforce capability, organizational effectiveness, and culture across the division.
Prior to joining Parker Hannifin, Debjani Tarafdar served as HR Lead – Mahindra Research Valley at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (Automotive and Farm Equipment Business), where she led HR strategy for a critical research and innovation ecosystem, supporting advanced engineering and future mobility initiatives.
Before this, she held the role of Senior Manager – HR at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., contributing to HR leadership across manufacturing and corporate functions. She earlier worked as Senior Manager – HR Business Partner at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, supporting complex, large-scale manufacturing operations.
Her earlier career includes progressive HR business partner roles at Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India, where she supported technology and engineering teams, as well as experience with RheinBrücke IT Consulting and Kaspon Techworks Pvt Ltd, building a strong foundation in HR operations, workforce planning, and business partnering.
Debjani Tarafdar holds an MBA in Human Resources and Finance from SRM University.
